Alumae-i-network for Harvard Women Pakistan recently organized a momentous event, "Celebrating 100 Years of Women in Law: Breaking Barriers; Shaping History," a remarkable occasion that brought together legal luminaries and advocates for gender equality. The chief guest for the event was the Honourable Justice Saman Rafat Imtiaz from the Islamabad High Court, whose presence added unparalleled grace and significance to the celebration.

Mr. Syed Ahmed Masood, President of the Sir Syed Memorial Society, and Mr. Hasan Raza Syed, Member of the Governing Body, warmly welcomed Justice Saman Rafat Imtiaz and the esteemed legal community. The event resonated with a powerful message of fostering equality and inclusivity for women throughout the country, particularly within the legal sphere.

Justice Saman Rafat Imtiaz, in her role as chief guest, emphasized the importance of making courtrooms more inclusive for female lawyers and ensuring equal opportunities for women in the legal profession. Her insightful remarks highlighted the need for a gender-equal legal landscape.

Following the event, Justice Saman Rafat Imtiaz explored various sections of the Sir Syed Memorial, immersing herself in its rich history and significance. The Ladyship also took the time to visit the Islamabad Museum, where she received a detailed briefing on different civilizations, enriching her understanding of cultural heritage
