Shaheen Khattak
Dr. Shaheen Khattak has been associated with Sir Syed Memorial Society for the last 20 years since her return from UK after completing her PhD. Her thesis is published as an academic book 'Islam and the Victorians'. She introduced an archaeologist PhD to Sir Syed Memorial Society who helped set up the ground floor museum. It is during her research that she developed respect for Sir Syed Ahmad Khan and her efforts for the welfare of Muslims. She is an academic with experience of teaching at all levels.
She has served on board of directors of various companies and has participated in numerous workshops to learn about that field. Dr. Shaheen also set up an Institute of Professional Sciences as Private Public Partnership in Peshawar.
She was a Rotarian for many years. She is Secretary of a CSR project known as Waqf which disburses scholarships to children of low income employees. Her latest academic achievement is in being head hunted to contribute to a team of worldwide eminent scholars working on encyclopedic project titled Christian Muslim Relations. Her contribution was recently published in volume 17 of that publication.
Dr. Shaheen has been a regular participant of a weekly talk show titled Tarikh-e-Pakistan.
